Since my last post, last year i have:

- turned 21
- had a wonderful semester
- had my heart broken
- moved to belgium
- saved someone who hurt me
- almost destoryed someone's face
- learned how to cry
- learned how to speak french
- been more of who i want to be
- fought the good fight
- studied for fun's sake
- and returned to america

its the start of school so of course, we are going to need a life update

i have been working all summer as an orientation ambassador.
a TON of work but really fun and worthwhile. i really liked the people i worked with. and getting up at seven and working till midnight and wearing orange polos was actually enjoyable.

im karen greene, and im a junior english and french major from charleston south carolina
my word of advice is always add ten minutes to the time you think youll be walking to class because when youre late, you will run into everyone you know

we loved meeting the 4,000 plus new freshmen along with their parents and families and showing them how great the next four (or five!) years of their life will be :)

after orientation was over i had a bit of time till school, so i got to hit home and see people like tessa before she left for korea, get some sun, and then go to georgia in the mountains with my aunt amy, her kids, barbara and jane.

i had a week back to unpack and prepare for my new foreign roomies. michelle and i welcomed in sonya from england and zoe from scotland. they are too cute.

ive been dating jonathan minor since may 18th now, and he's just been super fucking sweet.

this week ive been having ex issues with people blowing up my phone, but just as i'd hoped its calming down :)

last week were some great parties, we had a lake get together before school, and caroline and george's birthday with the wonderful makeshift DJing booth of george's truck roof.

last night jonathan took me out on a surprise date to the blue ridge brewing co. he took me there because they have wild game and im always talking about eating strange meats. ^_^ its super nerdy but it means a lot to me since heis a fucking vegetarian. anyway it was amazing and i tried rabbit, boar, and buffalo. mmm mmm.

today ive been running around, it is the student org fest, the welcome back fest, and the bowman block party so there is a ton of wsbf stuff to be done.

classes start wednesday! wish me luck!

guyssss i got a new boyfrand. his name is jonathan and he's pretty damn cute

turns out the last guy turned into a jerk
and was probably lying to me the whole time :/
but izz okay im only looking to be happy here :D

he was all super sweet to me all the time. and fucking funny.
my last week here i went to see his band play, and he dedicated allison weiss's I'm ready to me. which i wanted to believe was for me but he said it was because i tricked him and so i figured he just needed an AW excuse. we all do. and also i convinced myself that he didnt wink at me on stage.
lo and behold he did
anyhow. i went home for a while and was all antsy to get back.
and when i diiiiiiid he axd me aut.
zomg this kid was so fucking sweet.
we hung out for a while and he decided he was taking me to greenville (!) and i was like o damn i have a head ache and he was all SIT HERE and bought me fucking advil wtf wtf wtf wtf sweet.
anyhow he took me to this awesome place with beer and pizza and later we got coffee at coffee underground and did stupidly cute things like hold hands and fucking everyone in greenville thought we were the cutest thing ever i swearrrr
did i mention he paid
not that im not DTP. i totally am. which is why im like :o
so awesome.
anyhow weve kinda been spending a ton of time together and he's kinda cool
he even let me color in his tattoo last night. :D
so we're happy.
